Bible Study
The physical cornerstone to a vibrant life with God through Christ is the Bible. Anyone can worship. Anyone can fellowship. Anyone can pray. Christ-followers are called to do all these things but none of them matter, indeed they can be repulsive to God, unless they are founded upon truth -revealed truth. The Bible is that physical record of truth.
It is a sad reality that within the church universal, the body of all true followers of Jesus Christ, a minority of claimants actually invest themselves in one-to-one time with their scripture. For many this weakness stems from apathy but for others the study of God’s word just seems to daunting or ineffective.
Scripture is a deep deep well. It requires a lifetime of study to know. What follows is an attempt to provide a way to take some meaningful first steps. Hopefully, it will be involved enough to spark some new journeys without being overwhelming.
