Voting Blue
I am offering you a couple of snapshots of what our just-finished elections really mean. These two insights represent what the Republican party failed to communicate to the electorate, apparently because it wasn’t able to walk and chew gum at the same time. On the one hand, Republicans failed to offer meaningful solution to what people cared about – cost of living, gas prices, and the war. On the other hand they were seemingly completely incompetent in defining and challenging the well-camouflaged threat of the radical lefts socialism.
David Harris Jr. Summed it up well with this statement: “To everyone voting blue this election, I wish you the prosperity of Venezuela, the salaries of Cuba, the freedom of North Korea, the human rights of China, the women’s rights of Iran, the democracy of Russia, and the security of Mexico.”
